The Dream Dog is a professional, fully insured dog training and behaviour consultancy based in South London.
Our mission is simple - help owners struggling with their dog’s behaviour to go from stressed-out to chilled-out using our fun, reward-based training methods!
Whether you need help with teaching basic obedience, life skills or managing more complex behavioural issues we are on hand to assist!
We aim to help you create the dream dog!
The Dream Dog was formed from Alice’s love for dogs and helping people. Alice uses her combined skills of people management with her studies in canine behaviour to help people understand how to better communicate and work with their dogs.
Alice began her career as a dog trainer working in rescue. Her experience comes from working with a range of different behavioural issues enabling her to provide support for simple things like recalls to dealing with more complex behaviours such as separation anxiety and aggression. Alice is working towards accreditation with The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) and is a member of the World Scent Dog Association (WSDA).
Stella (Cairn Terrier) is a super girl and a very well rounded dog. She has been used for stooging for nervous and excitable dogs who need to learn appropriate ways of greeting. Stella’s favourite thing to do is sleep!
Woody (Pomeranian) was rescued at 5 weeks old so we don’t know much about his previous life. He’s very smart and loves to train. He has a sensitive side to him and shows subtle body language that can help owners identify similar signals in their own dog.

Alice is an amazing dog trainer, no doubt about it! She is extremely informative and makes sure that you understand why certain ways of training are better for your dog than others, so you yourself learn things as well as your dog. We had 4 sessions with Alice, and felt that our puppy learnt more in those sessions than in the 10 sessions

We had 4 sessions with Alice, and felt that our puppy learnt more in those sessions than in the 10 sessions we had with another trainer! We learnt several commands/behaviours which were extremely useful and kept our puppy stimulated throughout the session. I have never seen another dog trainer be so passionate and organised!! And to top it all off, the prices are extremely reasonable, and well worth the money!
Alice had Crumpet engaged from the offset and we saw the benefits from our first session immediately. Everything from the pre-planning elements to written feedback was undertaken with professionalism, structure, and ongoing reassurance - Alice removed the angst from our early learning experience. Highly recommend.
Alice is an excellent trainer. I came to her when I was experiencing my dog barking at other dogs when walking on the lead. Within only a few training sessions I was able to see a difference in Pandora who was much more focused on me and could look at other dogs in the distance with no reaction. A month on and Pandora can now walk next to

I loved training with Alice, she was dedicated, clear on what I had to do and was able to get the best out of Pandora.

Not only did she provide a clear training plan on what we had to do but also went the extra mile to help us when Luna decided she would become a fussy eater. Alice was able to get us to think outside the box with Luna’s training and find fun ways to encourage her to eat! I would definitely recommend Alice to anyone who is looking for a fun and friendly yet professional dog trainer.
Alice was keenly interested in what Hattie’s needs were and equipped us with the tools to help get her there. We really liked how Alice was able to get us to think like a dog, which helped us to understand how Hattie experiences the world and how to apply this to her training. We look forward to training with Alice again in the future.
